Join The Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans as we present our 23rd Bal Masque, "Apollo Fairy Tales: Once Upon A Time" on January 17, 2026, at the historic Carver Theater in New Orleans.With an exciting venue and a growing Krewe, our ball promises to be fun for everyone as we present costumes inspired by a variety of fairy tales -- all with a distinctive Apollo twist. You'll enjoy some of your favorites ranging from the Little Mermaid to Hansel and Gretel, with the Wizard of Oz leading the way. We'll also bring you more than a few special twists like our own version of the Prince and the Frog (yep, you read that right... there's no princess in this one), Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Pigs, and many more.
Honoring our reigning King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXII Jake Stout and Gia GiaVanni, and presenting King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXIII Lance Walker-Schlosser and Monique Breaux, this is an event you don't want to miss!

Full formal. Tux or evening gown required for entry. Visiting Royalty are welcome to wear crowns and sashes.
MENU
Complimentary food will be available prior to and during the tableau, with a king cake party following the ball. Cash bars provided by venue. Absolutely no outside beverages allowed! Guests must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink, as per applicable liquor laws.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for complimentary food service and cash bar. Tableau begins at 8 p.m. (All guests should plan to be seated before the tableau begins. Thanks.)
