The fates have aligned once more, and we are returning to Lai Wah Heen for another sso_ gathering. If you were there with us last month, you already know why. If you weren't, you are about to find out.
The brunch menu will be a bit of a mystery, deliberately and unapologetically so, guided by the season and the whims of a kitchen that has earned the right to surprise you.
You show up and eat whatever the universe puts in front of you — and that may or may not be Siu Mai, Koi Fish Dumplings, BBQ Pork Buns, Duck Spring Rolls, and Milk Tart. Substitutions for dietary restrictions are accommodated.
Your ticket is your reservation and your commitment to the kitchen gods (and to us, so we can give the restaurant a headcount), NOT a pre-paid dining experience. The sum of $81.36 per guest (tax and 20% gratuity included), is paid directly to the restaurant on the day in cash or by card.
First appearances and returning guests are welcomed in equal measure. The table holds between 8 and 25 guests, no more, and seats will not be held for the undecided.
