About this Event

Gather out of love, not duty. —Priya Parker

In 2017, an amazing group of teens from Southeast Raleigh took a challenges assessment conducted through the Photovoice & Youth Community Asset Mapping Project. In the project, youth identified (3) major issues facing Southeast Raleigh. Mental health care was at the top of the list.

Flash forward to today: Integral caring individuals from the surrounding community have stayed involved and connected with the Southeast Raleigh teens via volunteering, working with them to address the mental health needs of their community.

It is time to step it up in a GREATER way and we cannot do it without YOU! We are coordinating ongoing FRIENDraising opportunities to raise enough funds to help us open a community center focused on education, leadership, and mental health to support youth wellbeing in Southeast Raleigh:

• $400,000 needed for 1st year start-up costs to rent/upfit space and hire two staff.

• $1 million for (3) years of funding and for sustainability.

If you desire to donate, but can't attend the event, please consider donating here: www.ResiliencyCollaborative.org

Thank you in advance for your support!
