About this Event
Based on Gerald Durrell’s famous 1956 autobiographical book, this brilliant stage adaptation captures the eccentric, chaotic, and joyful lifestyle of the Durrell family.
The story follows young, nature-loving Gerry as he floods his family's Greek villa with scorpions, geckos, and magpies. Meanwhile, his family including his endlessly patient mother, gun-toting brother Leslie, fashion-obsessed sister Margo, and intellectual brother Larry try to navigate their wild new life abroad. It is a sparkling comedy about family, growing up, and the wonders of the natural world.
