Adult Social Care want to create better day services and opportunities that helps people to live a good life. This means having choices, feeling included, and doing things that matter to them — whether they live at home, attend a service or want to be in the community.‘My Day My Way’ is an engagement project to help to understand the everyday experiences, needs, and aspirations of people with learning disabilities, autism and other conditions who access care and support services.
Wigan Parent Carer Forum are excited to be hosting a number of sessions for Parent Carers to discuss the future aspirations of young people transitioning into adult services and share ideas to inform the new models of support.
