Join these MBA students as they speak about their countries and their journeys and experiences which have brought them to this point in their careers, at our Business School.


Akeem Adeniyi (Nigeria) is a medical doctor and public health practitioner, currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Exeter. He focuses on healthcare quality, operational excellence, and strategic management, with a passion for applying multidisciplinary expertise to improve healthcare delivery, strengthen health systems, and enhance population health outcomes.

Belinda Juma has had experience in AI training datasets, leadership and performance improvement. As a certified Project Management Professional, she finds fulfilment in bringing structure and clarity to her world. Her educational journey started with a foundation in Human Resource Management and Finance that has shaped her discipline, resilience and passion for growth. Her background continues to influence how she approaches both her life and her work.

Boneventure Kavuma (Uganda) is a finance professional whose experience bridges ethical transformation. With a background in Business Administration (Finance) he has driven sustainability across varied projects; restructuring finances, championing climate-smart agriculture, and expanding healthcare access. Boneventure is now an MBA candidate at the University of Exeter, where he is committed to empowering African cooperatives and building transparent, people-centred supply chains that redefine ethical enterprise.

Lynda Ohaeri (Nigeria) is an experienced entrepreneur and community leader with over 25 years of business management expertise. She is a resilient leader and owner of Roberta's Luxe (a women's fashion line). Lynda has a created foundation in resilience, leadership, and problem-solving.


Format:

There will be approximately one hour of presentations and a Q&A session after which we will have time for networking and some refreshments.




Venue and Directions / Online Instructions

Streatham Court Lecture Theatre C is within the Business School and just off Rennes Road on the Streatham Campus of the University of Exeter.

For those who will be attending via a Teams link, the link will be sent to you beforehand, but will also be included in the main Eventbrite information in due course.
