MxD Casting and Forging Industry Workshop #2

MxD is developing a technology roadmap focused on how digital manufacturing technologies can benefit the Casting and Forging industry. The roadmap will examine critical phases in the lifecycle, including design, production, and supply chain, and will be informed through a series of in-person workshops with industry, academia, government, and relevant trade associations.

MxD is looking for organizations that would be willing to participate in one or more of the workshops to share their expertise in the industry and their experiences with digital manufacturing technologies and how they might be better utilized throughout the casting and forging lifecycle.

The second workshop will take place on December 9, 2025, at the MxD facility in Chicago, IL.
