Come and join the MVMT arts Level 1 Workshop on January 25 + 26, 2025 . This two-day event runs for 8 hours each day, starting from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on both Saturday and Sunday with a lunch break.
L1 offers an immersive two-day workshop spanning 16 hours in total. Throughout the program, participants will delve into mastering all 15 Level 1 movements which are a combination of movements inspired by breakdance, gymnastics, acro dance and contemporary dance. The movements complete with regressions, progressions, and variations tailored to accommodate all skill levels. You'll not only gain a comprehensive understanding of each movement on its own but also learn to seamlessly integrate them into personalized flows of your creation.

The workshop extends a warm invitation to both fitness professionals and enthusiasts alike, embracing anyone with a passion for enhancing their movement skills. Fitness professionals have the opportunity to pursue certification as MVMT Arts Instructors post-workshop. Upon completion of the workshop, individuals can submit their movements to start your certification process, enabling them to teach MVMT Arts in various settings such as personal training, group fitness classes, workshops, and retreats.
Continuing Education Credits:
The Level 1 course is accredited to offer continuing education credits by the following organizations: American Council on Exercise (ACE) - 1.0 CEUs; National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) 1.4 CEUs
About the Course:
Throughout the workshop, participants will explore all facets of MVMT Arts, encompassing floor-work, acro dance, break dance , contemporary dance, flexibility and mobility and strength.
The workshop commences with foundational positions, progressively advancing in complexity and challenge over the course of two days. Each movement is contextualized within scientifically-proven principles pertinent to individuals involved in the health and fitness sectors. By the culmination of the second day, attendees will collectively execute a sequence integrating the majority of movements learned during the workshop. This sequence serves as a framework from which participants can initiate their own creative journey.
