About this Event

The Mustard Seed of Health Workshop is a 2-day, faith-rooted event designed to help families, couples, and individuals grow stronger spiritually, physically, and mentally.

We believe that lasting health doesn’t come from willpower or quick fixes it starts small, like a mustard seed, and grows when rooted in truth, intention, and faith.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready to take the next step toward honoring your body as God’s temple, this weekend is for you.

What You Can Expect:

  • Christ-centered teaching on health, movement, and mindset
  • Hands-on fitness coaching for all levels (bring a mat!)
  • Practical family nutrition strategies you can stick to
  • Tools for managing stress, improving mental clarity, and setting faith-based goals
  • Real conversations and a supportive, judgment-free space
  • Scripture woven into every session
  • Bring your spouse, a friend, a family member, or your kids (ages 12+) and grow stronger together

It starts small, but the impact will carry into generations.


Day 1

Welcome & Workshop Introduction

Info: We’ll open the weekend by exploring how faith, fitness, and nutrition come together to build generational health. Through community connection and guided reflection, you’ll identify your personal “why” and learn how honoring God through your health and family starts with clear values and purpose.

Introduction to Family Nutrition

Info: Learn the foundations of balanced eating with real-life strategies for busy families. We’ll cover nutrition basics, portion control, and simple meal prep tips to make healthy eating doable and sustainable. Discover how mindful food choices not only build strong bodies—but also honor the One who created them


🕑: 06:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Foundational Exercise Instruction & Family Workout

Info: This session teaches the six key movement patterns every body needs—squat, hinge, push, pull, lunge, and twist. You’ll learn proper form, the difference between mobility and stretching, and how to build strength safely at any age. We’ll finish with a fun, family-friendly workout designed to meet you where you are. All movements will be modified for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels to ensure everyone feels confident and capable.

Community, Reflection & Support

Info: This hour is set aside for connection, conversation, and encouragement. We’ll enjoy healthy, family-friendly snacks while discussing practical ways to apply what we’ve learned. You’ll have space to ask questions, hear from others, and reflect on how to carry this into your daily life. We’ll close with a time of prayer, asking for strength and wisdom as you continue your journey toward health in body, mind, and spirit.


Day 2

🕑: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Building Lasting Habits from the Inside Out

Info: We’ll begin Day 2 with a recap of key takeaways from Friday and set the tone for long-term growth. This session focuses on creating sustainable health habits as a family. You’ll learn how to build consistent fitness routines, set SMART goals, and create small daily shifts that support lasting change.

We’ll also explore what’s happening inside the body during habit formation, movement, and nutrition so you can make informed choices with confidence. Whether you’re just starting out or strengthening what’s already in place, this session will equip you to lead your family with clarity and purpose.

Plating Your Food and Navigating Social Events

Info: This session will help you approach meals with confidence and clarity—whether you’re at home or out with others. We’ll talk through how to create meals that support your health goals without stress or restriction.

You’ll also learn simple strategies for enjoying social events like parties, buffets, and group meals while staying aligned with your values. Walk away with tools to manage peer pressure, navigate large portions, and make mindful choices without missing out.

Lunch Break: Practice What You’ve Learned

Info: Enjoy a nourishing meal in community while putting the morning’s lessons into action. This is a chance to apply simple strategies for building balanced plates in a real-life setting. Use this time to connect with others, reflect on what you’ve learned, and consider how these habits can carry into your everyday meals and family gatherings.

Mental Well-being and Stress Management for Families

Info: This session focuses on the real mental and emotional challenges families face in today’s busy world. We’ll explore how stress impacts both adults and children, and how to recognize early signs of burnout or overwhelm.

You’ll learn faith-based tools for managing stress, including prayer, scripture, and simple practices that bring peace and purpose into your home. For couples, we’ll introduce the concept of marriage meetings—intentional check-ins to strengthen communication, align goals, and support each other through the highs and lows of everyday life.

Walk away with practical strategies to nurture your mental well-being and create a more connected, Christ-centered home.

Guided Workout

Info: This workout is designed to help you apply what you’ve learned through intentional movement. You’ll practice foundational exercises with a focus on form, function, and confidence. All movements will be guided and modified for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels so you can participate at your own pace


🕑: 02:30 PM - 03:30 PM
Strengthening the Family from the Inside Out

Info: This session focuses on building stronger, more connected families through intentional communication and emotional support. You’ll learn how to lead meaningful family meetings that create space for open conversation, shared goals, and spiritual connection.

We’ll also explore the importance of mental resilience—how to recognize signs of stress, support one another, and create an environment where every family member feels seen and encouraged. Leave with practical tools to bring peace, purpose, and unity into your home.

Reflection and Next Steps

Info: We’ll close the workshop by reflecting on what we’ve learned and how faith, fitness, and family health work together in everyday life. Participants will be encouraged to share key takeaways, mindset shifts, and the steps they plan to take moving forward.

This session will also include practical guidance for continuing the journey—maintaining new habits, holding regular family meetings, and tracking progress. We’ll end with a time of prayer, asking for strength, unity, and wisdom as you apply what you’ve learned and lead your home with purpose.
