About this Event

Welcome to the Muss Rewind course for PTSD/Trauma!

Join me at the MS Centre Exeter for a transformative one day workshop on Dr David Muss’s ORIGINAL REWIND Technique for Trauma which is an effective and powerful method for helping individuals reprocess traumatic memories and reduce their emotional impact, in just between 1-3 sessions. Muss REWIND is already used in the NHS, our emergency services and in private practice across the UK and overseas.

This is the perfect time to learn about this technique which could revolutionise how we approach treating trauma/PTSD. In addition to a client only needing between 1-3 sessions, the REWIND is closure without disclosure, thus minimising retriggering without having to share sensitive information and has a 90-95% success rate.

Dr David Muss was working with veterans who were suffering from PTSD and felt that there was not an effective enough treatment to help them and adapted an NLP technique in the 80’s and has pioneered The REWIND helping individuals and groups.

The first UK based Randomised control Trial (NHS patients with PTSD) showed how effective MUSS REWIND is for treating Trauma and you will see the latest research and hundreds of case studies on the IARTT website, and there are multiple projects in the NHS trauma services currently underway.

(The IARTT is not a charity, but is a non for profit association whose aim is to make The Rewind universally available to treat PTSD)

You will learn:

· Introduction to The REWIND Technique for Trauma/PTSD History and current research

· The Procedure: Gain in depth knowledge and understanding of the technique used and how to use it in the treatment of Trauma

· Adaptations to the procedure in relation to the clients’ involvement to the trauma

· Possible contraindications

· Integration: Utilising the technique alongside your current way of working

· Demonstration of the technique

· Practical session with feedback

· Interactive discussion

What is included:

· Comprehensive manual (emailed)
