This seminar is designed for Muslims at a later stage in life — including those who may be divorced, widowed, parents, or simply starting marriage later. 🌿 Attendees may range from their early 30s through their 50s, and in some cases beyond, depending on participant interest.
💫 Our goal is to provide a respectful, faith-based environment where participants can learn, connect, and explore the possibility of marriage with others at a similar stage in life. In addition to facilitated introductions, the seminar includes discussions on topics like:

🕊 Navigating marriage with maturity
⚖️ Balancing responsibilities with companionship

🗓 Application Deadline: Saturday, September 13th at Midnight PST
(Applicants after this date will be reviewed but not guaranteed acceptance. Acceptances & waitlists will be sent out on a rolling basis.)
🗓 Dates: Saturday, September 20th – Sunday, September 21st
(Timings are approximations and may be adjusted slightly)

⏰ 8:00am – 11:30am | Fiqh of Marriage with Shaykh Umair Ahmad (Fiqh from a Sunni perspective)
⏰ 12:30pm – 5:00pm | Pre-Marital Considerations with Sister Huma Din (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)

⏰ 10:00am – 2:00pm | Meet and Greet with Imam Adam Jamal & Br. Ahsen Nadeem
📍 Location: Greater Seattle Area (kept private and revealed only to accepted participants)
⚠️ Note: You must participate in the first two sessions in order to attend the meet and greet.
💵 Cost: $200 (instructions on payment will be sent after acceptance, some financial aid available)
👥 Capacity: 40 spots total — 20 brothers & 20 sisters (+ returning attendees for the Sunday meet & greet)
🎯 Ages: 30–50 (older or younger applicants considered case by case)
♻️ Ongoing Access
We aim to hold these seminars once a year. Attendance at one seminar grants you access to the following year’s meet-and-greet at no additional cost. For example, if you attend the Summer 2025 seminar, you may also participate in the Summer 2026 meet-and-greet. If you wish to join again in Summer 2027, we ask that you retake the full seminar as a refresher, for a fee of $50.
