🦇 Muskegon Goth Meet-Up at Hackley House — Hackley Day 🖤
Hosted by The Darkness Underground
Step out of the shadows and into history! Join the local Muskegon goth community for a relaxed meet-up at the Hackley & Hume Historic Site (Hackley House) during the free Hackley Day celebration for Muskegon County residents on Saturday, May 16th, 2026.
This is an informal social gathering—no itinerary, no pressure, just a chance to enjoy beautiful Victorian architecture, wander the grounds, take photos, and connect with fellow creatures of the night in one of Muskegon’s most iconic historic spaces.
📅 Date: May 16th, 2026 - Hackley Day (public, free-admission day for Muskegon County residents)
⏰ Meet-Up Time: 10:45 AM
📍 Meeting Spot: By the “Hackley House Historic Site” sign
🎟️ Admission: Free for Muskegon County residents as part of the event
💀 Hosted by: The Darkness Underground
What to expect:
— Chill vibes and a welcoming crowd
— Casual conversation and community building
— Photo ops among ornate Victorian architecture
— All styles welcome: trad goth, alt, punk, darkwave, spooky-adjacent, curious newcomers, etc.
What this is NOT:
— Officially affiliated or associated with Hackley & Hume Historic Site or Lakeshore Museum Center
— A formal event, photoshoot, or private tour
— A private, exclusive, or ticketed gathering event
Dress up or come as you are. Bring a friend. Make a friend. Explore history. Embrace the aesthetic.
Feel free to post in the event page if you’re looking to carpool, find folks on arrival, or just want to say hello.
🖤 Come find your people—right here among the carved woodwork and ghosts of Muskegon’s past. Then, join us later that night for our regular goth night (Nightfall’s Edge) at Cafe Tamaki.
