With over 31 years of experience, musician Dan Geib will bring his unique blend of acoustic Americana music as he takes the stage during the Michigan Flywheelers Museum’s Antique Engine and Tractor Show.Slotted for 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 in the Stephenson Barn, Geib’s music incorporates the elements of various American music styles including rock, blues, bluegrass and classic country.
Dan recorded, performed on and produced a CD with the Art Gomperz Band that made it into the Top 10 of the European Country Music Association Charts and the song “Don’t Worry Anymore” was nominated for IMA Americana Song of the Year.
His original banjo instrumental “Courts in Session” received extensive radio play including the SIRIUS bluegrass channel and his recent CD and guitar instruction have been featured in two issues of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. Over the years, Dan has shared the stage with such great acts as Leftover Salmon, String Cheese Incident, Steep Canyon Rangers, Corn Meal, Pure Prairie League, Commander Cody, Peter Rowan and the Dillards.
The Antique Engine and Tractor Show starts Thursday, Sept. 4 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025. Along with hundreds of antique farm machinery, there is entertainment, a large outdoor flea market, antique tractor pulls, kids activities and more. Admission is $10 per person with children 12 and under free. Admission specials include Senior Citizen Day on Thursday with admission reduced to $5 for 62 and older, and the Sunday Special when admission is $5 for everyone. Gates open at 8 a.m.
