Saturday is considered “Kids Day” at the Michigan Flywheelers Museum’s Antique Engine and Tractor Show. Packed full of fun things to do, the day starts with a pedal pull and ends with a magic show! Registration for the pedal pull starts at 11 a.m. Open to youngsters from 4 to 11 years old, the pull starts at noon. Over at the kids track area, ages 7 to 15 can test their driving ability during the Kids Tractor Skills test. Riding lawn mowers required for this activity. After the 2 p.m. Equipment Parade, the “Sawdust Pile Treasure Hunt” takes place at 3 p.m. in the Kids’ “Barnyard.” Open to all ages from toddler to pre-teen, kids can dive into a pile of sawdust, hunt for wooden nickels and turn them in for a prize.
Kids Tractor Games returns at 4 p.m. followed by a Kids Tractor Cruise at 6 p.m. Riding lawn mowers required for these two events as well.
At 7 p.m. in the Stephenson Barn, magician John Dudley will take the stage. With over four decades of delighting young and old with his family-friendly comedy magic act, John ’s show is filled with magic, tricks and plenty of laughs.
The Antique Engine and Tractor Show starts Thursday, Sept. 4 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025. Along with hundreds of antique farm machinery, there is entertainment, a large outdoor flea market, antique tractor pulls, kids activities and more. Admission is $10 per person with children 12 and under free. Admission specials include Senior Citizen Day on Thursday with admission reduced to $5 for 62 and older, and the Sunday Special when admission is $5 for everyone. Gates open at 8 a.m.
