Our 2026 Musica Vitae concert program takes us through the major eras of western music - Mediaeval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20th century, including several traditional and Afro-American favourites. The final three pieces in the first half exemplify recent choral techniques pursued by three extraordinary Australian composers - Liam Waterford, Ruth McCall and Stephen Leek.After interval we will present Judy's most recent major composition, The Prophet (2024), settings of seven segments of Kahlil Gibran's poetical philosophy for voices and instrumental ensemble.
The performance includes Wayfarers singers and instrumentalists from Armidale, Bateman's Bay, Bowral, Canberra, Cooma and Sydney.
