Music Together® Rhythm Kids®
For ages 3-6 and an adult, the Alligator Collection includes drumming patterns from Guinea, West Africa. These patterns often accompany a song and dance called “Kakilambe” a mask-dance song performed annually by the Baga people of Guinea to celebrate life and the growth of crops. We’ll clap, stomp, and drum along to the lively beat of the Ghanian singing game, “Tue Tue,” do some zydeco line dancing in “Alligator Zydeco,” and tweedle deet our way through our unique version of the classic American folk song, “The Green Grass Grows All Around,” a new addition to the Alligator collection for 2025. All 18 selections in this collection have been chosen and arranged specifically to support your child’s music development.
