Class Information
Music and imagery
A home is a place that gives warmth and relaxation and provides strength and support for recovery and renewal. How long have you not been home? Have you ever missed the place that has been calling you deep in your heart? Music and Imagery is a music-centered method that can help you develop and deepen your connection to your inner self. We invite you to follow the flow of music, along with the ups and downs of music, and experience peace of mind or warm, adventurous moments. Our instructor, Sunny, will accompany you until you find and settle where you can feel calm and alive in your heart and mind.
This water flows there and makes the salt water fresh. So, where the river flows everything will live (Ezekiel 47:9).
(Please bring your yoga mat. You can also bring your blanket and pillow, which is optional.)
About Sunny
Sunny Chen is a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC, No.17812). She holds a bachelor’s degree in music from National Taiwan Normal University and a master’s in music therapy from Michigan State University. Before 2019, she was doing research on how music can improve insomnia and also lectured on how music can assist relaxation and sleep quality in colleges and medical associations. After, she came to California with her family. She is currently a trainee of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) at Atlantis Institute of Consciousness and Music (AICM). She is deeply dedicated to helping people in expressive art and spiritual ways.
