Dave Mrocek - Wednesday, March 18
Update: The March 18 show has been moved inside to the RHJ Social Hall due to the excessive heat forecasted for this day.
Dave Mrocek launched a lifetime of music in Minneapolis in the mid-sixties with a band called the Del Counts, a name Minnesotans of that era will know well. Dave played keyboards and sang leads and back-ups. The Del Counts released three successful recordings, packed dance halls, and opened arena concerts for artists such as the Hollies, the Rascals, Strawberry Alarm Clock, Wilson Pickett, and others.
Through six decades of music, Dave continued to perform with other successful bands in Minnesota, always including one or more members of the original Del Counts. Dave is now a full-time resident of Sun City West.
At his Music on the Green appearance, you can expect a variety of music for every taste including Classic Rock, Country, Oldies, R & B, and some very tasty ballads.
Senior Moments - Wednesday, April 15
Senior Moments is a Sun Cities based band that plays a variety of popular music including Motown, R&B, Classic Rock and Country. All members are professional musicians with decades of performing experience who look forward to sharing their music with local venues and fun-loving people. Good times and funky grooves are our specialty!
