A special program honoring the 250th commemoration of the Declaration of Independence
Join us for an interactive afternoon of music exploring the sounds and stories of America’s founding era. Music of a New Nation brings history to life through songs that capture the stirrings of revolution, a powerful fiddle tune composed by an enslaved person, and ballads sung by soldiers on both sides.
Performance by Ampersand, this engaging program invites audience curiosity—questions are welcome throughout. Stay after the performance to enjoy light refreshments and conversation.
