Join us for three FREE Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba classes with Lauren Brooks!
Bomba is an Afro-Puerto Rican traditional music and dance form that has survived over 400 years. Like other African diasporic performance styles, Bomba features improvised expression and collaboration between dancers, vocalists, and drummers. Participants will enjoy learning fundamental dance vocabulary, technique, and timing!
Bring a wide skirt or scarf, if possible.
All levels and ages are welcome, and programming is FREE and open to the public!
