Our next fundraiser is in aid of the Sexual Violence Centre Cork. I'm delighted to welcome back the fantastic Oscar, who will be teaching a music interpretation class for us before the social. Following the class, we'll have our regular social dancing, 60% salsa / 40% bachata. Cash on the door, all money goes directly to charity, tell anyone who might be interested!Musical interpretation is the focus of this class. It explores how to hear "el caminado", the walk of Afro-Caribbean rhythms, recognize their accents, and translate them into movement with respect to son, salsa, pachanga, etc

The Cork Sexual Violence Centre has two aims: working towards the elimination of sexual violence in society, and providing support to victims of sexual violence. Amongst other services, they provide crisis support, counselling, and court accompaniment.
