Join us at the 27th annual Tiffin University Music Industry Summer Camp and enjoy a total creative experience in writing, performing and recording rock, pop, jazz, r&b, a cappella, hip hop and other commercial styles! You’ll also work with industry professionals on how to succeed as an independent artist and music entrepreneur! With lots of individual attention and working in small ensembles and production teams, campers each take the lead in the creation of original pop, rock, r&b and hip hop music, a cappella arrangements, and solo and group performances.
Campers perform in rock, pop, hip hop and indie bands and vocal groups, receive private instruction and solo coachings, participate in workshops on songwriting, beatboxing, live looping, studio recording and production, arranging, live sound engineering, and other topics key to success on stage and in the studio.
You’ll collaboratively work with professional artists-in-residence to create and record original music together. You’ll engage in co-writing activities with fellow campers and pro songwriters, and then you’ll work with a professional producer in the recording and mixing of your songs. Camp ends on Thursday evening with a public in-person and live-streamed performance of what we’ve created together!
The camp is open to all high school and college students, as well as amateur and professional musicians and educators!
