Join artists from The Metropolitan Opera and Broadway for a special musical adaptation from the Broadway production and movie, "Fiddler On The Roof."Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, "Fiddler on the Roof" is the brainchild of Broadway legends, Jerome Robbins and Harold Prince; songwriters, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick; and bookwriter, Joseph Stein. It is based on "Tevye the Dairyman" and other short stories by Sholem Aleichem.
The story centers on Tevye, a milkman in the village of Anatevka who attempts to maintain his Jewish religious and cultural traditions in 1905...and life here is as precarious as a Fiddler on the Roof.
