About this Event
Music & Poem: Different Kinds of Love
This intimate evening brings together classical music, soulful jazz, and contemporary vocal works in a genre-blending program inspired by poetry and lived experience. Taking place at Lincoln Center’s Bruno Walter Auditorium, classical musicians, jazz artists, and a K-pop singer recognized from a globally known Netflix series share the stage, creating a rich and expressive sound world across piano, clarinet, guitar, and voice.
The program unfolds through emotional chapters—joyful, longing, reflective, historical, creative, and heartbroken love—pairing music with selected poems and literary excerpts. Community voices are woven into the performance through poems collected and curated by the Paramus Public Library, with selected poets reading their own work live on stage.
This concert marks the first chapter of an ongoing series that invites audiences to listen, reflect, and help shape future programs. Open to all—families, couples, and individual listeners!
