Music educator, Peri Goodman, is back to bring you a unique experience combining all the power of Music AND Movement education! Through Dr. John Feierabend's Model, "First Steps in Music", children will playfully engage in Tuneful, Beautiful, Artful music and movement experiences parents can share and explore at home. Children will experience an awareness of melodic direction through playful and engaging vocal exploration, echo singing, and simple folk songs. Functions of beat through beat keeping, meter and rhythmic play. Artistic expression through storytelling, speech pieces, expressive play, listening and responding to musical cues. Socialization skills as children engage in the art of sharing, turn taking, and developing an awareness of others while making music together. All providing children and parents with musical tools they can practice and explore at home.
