Join us at the Allen County Public Library (Main Branch, Meeting Room A) on Friday, April 24th at 4:00 PM for an intimate conversation with composer Dr. Jorge Sosa. Dr. Sosa will share the story of his immigration journey: arriving in the United States at age 26 with nothing more than "a backpack, a suitcase, and a lot of dreams." During our time together, we will discuss how those experiences have shaped and inspired his musical works. We are also honored to welcome a volunteer from Amani Family Services, who will share her own journey and join Dr. Sosa for a part of the Q&A session.
Don’t miss this opportunity to talk about the intersection of art, identity, and the American dream!
