“Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife.” ~Khalil Gibran
Music & art speaks to people so deeply because it is essentially human. Throughout history great leaders have understood the power of art to influence the mind and heart. Because of this great power, it is imperative that we use music and art as tools for the creation of culture in our communities, programs and classrooms. Music is scientifically proven to shift emotions, which can lead to a shift in action. In this workshop we will explore strategies for using music to teach emotional literacy within program structures and curriculum.
