Did you know that mushrooms are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to fungi? Fungi form one of the most diverse and essential groups of organisms on Earth, playing key roles in nutrient cycling, plant growth, and even medicine! While mushrooms are the visible fruiting bodies, fungi encompass a wide range of species, from yeasts to molds, all contributing to our ecosystems and daily lives in incredible ways.
Join us for the next Wild Conversations series with Dr. Amy Choong, as we unravel the mysteries of these fascinating organisms. Discover their diverse uses – from culinary delights and medicinal benefits to their role in sustainable practices and ecological conservation.
This event is free-to-attend, but we do encourage contributions that will go towards supporting a conservation cause. We will be supporting Nature Society Singapore in their conservation work. Also, if you enjoy Wild Conversations and would like to help us keep this going, we would appreciate any amount of contribution.
