Guided alpine mushroom foraging and wild food identification workshop exploring Colorado mountain ecosystems.
About this Event

Join Colorado forager and creative educator Constance Wilde (Rachel) for a guided alpine mushroom and wild foods expedition exploring the forests and mountain ecosystems of Colorado’s Front Range.

These immersive workshops are designed to reconnect participants with the natural world through guided outdoor exploration, seasonal observation, ethical harvesting practices, and hands-on learning about local ecosystems and wild foods.

Participants will learn mushroom identification, fungal ecology, habitat awareness, edible wild plants, and seasonal wild foods commonly found in alpine environments. While edible mushrooms are never guaranteed, workshops are scheduled during peak seasonal windows and may also include edible plant identification and discussions around sustainable gathering and wild food preparation.
