Museum Muses: Gond Style Bird & TreeSlow down, settle in, and let creativity take the lead during Museum Muses: Gond Style Bird & Tree at the Morton Museum of Collierville History.
Led by artist Sayali Abhyankar, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the intricate beauty of Gond art, a traditional folk style from central India. In this session, guests will focus on the classic Gond motifs of birds and trees, symbols of nature and life, brought to life through vibrant colors and the style’s signature patterns of dots and dashes.
Whether you’re new to Gond art or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop offers a welcoming space to experiment, reflect, and create a unique piece that captures the spirit of the natural world.
