About this Event
Murph at BFT Lincoln
Memorial Day | Monday, May 25 | 6:00–8:00 AM
This Memorial Day, we’re taking on Murph, a workout that means more than just reps and time on the clock.
Murph is named after Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who gave his life in service during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan. The workout was one of his favorites, and it has become a tradition across the country to honor his sacrifice, and the sacrifices of so many others, through effort, grit, and community.
The Workout
“Murph” (RX):
• 1 mile run
• 100 pull-ups
• 200 push-ups
• 300 air squats
• 1 mile run
Optional: Wear a weighted vest (20/14 lb) if you’re feeling bold.
Scaling options will be available, because this isn’t about perfection, it’s about participation and honoring the meaning behind it.
How It Works
• This is a free, open community event
• Come anytime between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• You must finish your workout by 8:00 AM

Why We Do It
Murph isn’t just a workout. It’s a reminder.
A challenge.
A way to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave everything.
So on May 25, we sweat with purpose.
