The Muriwai Commemorative Sculpture unveiling and naming ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 23rd at 5pm. The meeting point is the covered area outside the front of the Muriwai Surf Club (Jack Butt Lane, Muriwai Beach), where there'll be a welcome and a briefing, followed by a silent hikoi to the sculpture site. The ceremony will be led by Richard Nahi of Ngāti Whātua. All are welcome.
