What bugs hide in our bush? Come and help us find out.Professional entomologists from Auckland Museum and Auckland University will help you identify as many insects as we can find at Matuku Link’s forest and wetland edge at this evening walk. We will be looking for caddisflies, crane flies, freshwater insects and might find weta, stick insects, spiders and glow worms!
Matuku Link is a community conservation and education project in Bethells/Te Henga, restoring the wetland with plants from our own nursery, protecting the wildlife and a wetland education program.
The Waitakere River flows through Matuku Link and into the
unique Te Henga wetland.
$5 per person, under 12-year olds free
