An opportunity to capture a treasured family photograph as you meet and make friends over breakfast. Toys will be provided for little ones.
About this Event

Mums Matter!

We're delighted to invite you to a special breakfast with the opportunity to have a professional festive family photograph. Invite your friends and come and make new friends.

Essential booking:

You're welcome to book a slot for photos and breakfast or just for the breakfast as you choose. Booking a slot for each family is essential so we can get numbers for photography, catering and to ensure the hall doesn't get too full. If you are coming as a family, you can book two adults in at the same time. Dads, partners, Grandads, Aunts, Uncles and friends are welcome this month so they can be in the photos too!

Timings:

This will be a very relaxed breakfast. You can come straight from the school run (if you do one) and enjoy your breakfast while others arrive. We have space for 12 mini photos shoots within the following two time slots. Please choose your slot:

+ 9.00 - 10.15

+ 10.15 - 11.30

Pre-schoolers and babies are welcome:

You're children are welcome as we guess you will want them in the photos! There will be toys for them to play while you enjoy yourself.

You don't have to come with children:

By the way, y ou don't have to come with children and you don't have to get a photo taken! Just come and relax with us over breakfast!

Can other family members come and be in the photos?

Y es! We appreciate that this month you may want Dads, partners, Grandads, an aunt or uncle in the photos. Just book them a place along with yours (you will be able to book up to two adult tickets at a time under the ticket options) so we provide enough breakfast and space in the hall.

Getting to Thanington Resource Centre, Canterbury:

Thanington Road is on the bus route out of Canterbury to Ashford, up Wincheap Road. The Centre is only 5 minutes walk from Wincheap park and ride. There is plenty of parking, friendly staff and accessible toilets for us to use.

Offered on a donation basis, but booking is essential:

Thanks to grants, we are able to offer this special breakfast on a donation basis on the day. Please book a place for free at the time slot you need for each adult. Your contribution on the day will help to ensure this affordable support continues for everyone in 2024 and 2025.

You Eventbrite ticket includes:

Breakfast croissant and drinks
Your photo session - please choose the time slot you can attend
A contribution towards staffing costs and volunteer expences.

"Hey mummas, I'm Stefanie, photographer, business owner, mum to a cheeky 6 year old and 3 furr babies. I did my photography course in 2005 and have loved photography as a hobby ever since, I decided to set up Stefanie Hazel photography when my son was a baby. Naturally I was drawn to maternity, newborns, children and families with a few weddings for good measure.

I'm super excited to work with the lovely mums and kids at Mums Matter this November, I have a special festive set up I know you will love."

Cost of Photos:

Stefanie has very kindly offered to make these photos as affordable as possible to our Mums Matter families. She will supply a preview of the pictures electronically and if you choose to purchase any they will be £10 per digital image or £25 for three images. This is a special rate just for us.
