Zines are small, independent, self-published magazines/ pamphlets packed with people's passions, interests and creativity. You can put everything and anything into a zine - rants, stories, reviews, comics, art, printing, collages, there are no limits.Multitudes is festival showcasing the work established zine makers and an exhibition of new zines from makers around Greater Manchester focusing on global majority / Black / Asian, disabled, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent and working class zine makers.
There will be zine stalls, a pop-up zine library, drop-in workshops, pay-as-you-feel portraits from local artist Akinyemi Oludele, zine exhibition and zine-making table. Open to all, free entry.
