The 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 of 𝗦𝘁. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆’𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 is proud to announce the 𝟲𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗚𝗛𝗦𝗖 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 & 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 scheduled from 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹, 𝟮𝟬𝟮6, at our historic campus located at 82, Municipal Road, Dhaka-1100.
This year’s festival holds special significance as 11th April marks the 60th Anniversary of the Gregorian Science Club—six decades of scientific excellence, innovation, and inspiration.
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗨𝘀:
For nearly sixty years, the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 has been a cornerstone of scientific learning and creativity. The club has consistently worked to inspire young minds, promote scientific thinking, and provide a national platform for students to showcase their talents.
𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
During our 𝟲𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗚𝗛𝗦𝗖 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 & 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹, we successfully welcomed over 3500 students from 65 institutions across the country. The overwhelming participation and enthusiasm reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing future scientists and innovators.

𝗶) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
All participants must present a science-based idea or project in the form of a multimedia presentation.
𝗶𝗶) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴:
All participants must create a science-based drawing. Participants must use their own drawing materials; only paper will be provided by the school.
𝗶𝗶𝗶) 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶:
A creative segment where participants will demonstrate scientific understanding through paper folding (origami). Only paper will be provided by the school.
𝗶𝘃) 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿?
The name or image of a scientific discovery will be provided, and participants must correctly identify the scientist responsible for the discover.
𝘃) 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁:
Images of human body organs will be shown, and participants must correctly identify them.
𝘃𝗶) 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵:
Participants will deliver an impromptu speech on a science-related topic (syllabus will be uploaded in Facebook event page).
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁: Maximum 3 minutes
𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲: Bangla or English
𝟮. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
i) 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆:
A three-member team-based segment where participants collaboratively solve interdependent science-based questions. Each stage of the relay depends on the previous answer, requiring teamwork and logical progression.
𝗶𝗶) 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 (𝗜𝗧):
A three-member team-based project focused on information technology, innovation, and digital solutions. Projects should emphasize technological application and problem-solving.
𝗶𝗶𝗶) 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 (𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹):
A three-member team-based project centered on physical sciences, engineering models, and applied scientific concepts. Projects should demonstrate practical implementation and technical understanding.
𝗶𝘃) 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱):
Teams will creatively present scientific topics through an illustrated and informative wall magazine, showcasing research, visual design, and conceptual clarity.
𝟯. 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱𝘀
i) 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱:
Questions will be taken from group-based general science textbooks and general knowledge.
ii) 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱:
The competition will be conducted according to standard Olympiad rules and format.
iii) 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱:
The competition will follow standard Olympiad rules and guidelines.
iv) 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱:
The competition will follow standard Olympiad rules and guidelines.
v) 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗮𝗱:
Questions will include fundamental concepts of astronomy, textbook-based knowledge, and general knowledge of space science
𝟰. 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
i) 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲:
A three-round game based on the periodic table. Detailed instructions will be announced through a video on the official Facebook page of the Gregorian Science Club.
ii) 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Participants will identify scientific specimens and models based on observation and subject knowledge. Detailed instructions will be announced through a video on the official Facebook page of the Gregorian Science Club.
iii) 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿’𝘀:
A team-based treasure hunt combining logical reasoning, science challenges, and time-based tasks. Detailed instructions will be announced through a video on the official Facebook page of the Gregorian Science Club.
• 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺:
The 𝟲𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 will add a memorable and historic dimension to the event.
