Mulligans for Moebius is a scramble golf tournament born out of a desire to increase awareness of Moebius syndrome and to raise funds to benefit the Moebius Syndrome Foundation. Funds raised through Mulligans for Moebius will have a direct impact on those living with Moebius syndrome and will help the Moebius Syndrome Foundation in its mission to support these individuals and provide a community for connection. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Moebius Syndrome Foundation.
Mulligans For Moebius will be played in a scramble format. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start. Teams will be assigned a starting hole. At the designated start time, a horn/announcement will signal all groups to begin play simultaneously. Each player on a team hits a tee shot. The team then selects the best shot and all players hit their next shot from that spot (within one club length and no closer to the hole). This process continues until the ball is holed. The team records one score per hole. This format is fast-paced, fun, and great for golfers of all abilities. Awards will be given for 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place during the awards presentation.
Being that it's Mulligans for Moebius, Mulligans will be available for purchase at check-in. Mulligans may be used on any shot, except putts. A maximum of 4 mulligans per team may be used during the round.
