HOBO Oslo, Jaeger, MUD and Voie Studios proudly present: ATJAZZ (UK) - STARBASE 17 ALBUM LISTENING SESSION + AFTERTALK, Thursday 28 May at HOBO Oslo - Pavilion, 19.00–22.30.N.B: This is a free event with LIMITED seating and space, so meet up early to secure your spot for the listening session and aftertalk.
With great passion and admiration for quality music, we invite music heads, clubbers, dancers, fans and anyone else interested to a special evening, where we showcase and celebrate Martin Iveson aka Atjazz’s ambitious and quintessential album Starbase 17. YES indeed, in collaboration with the recently opened hotel and culture venue HOBO Oslo, we set the stage for Atjazz’s selection of 10–12 tracks that highlight different genres and sound signatures from the album. Following the listening session, we further explore Starbase 17 and Atjazz’s career with an aftertalk + Q&A, led by Jaeger head honcho and culture head Ola Smith-Simonsen aka Olanskii. We feel super lucky and grateful, as longtime collaborators and MUD friends Voie Studios team up to provide us with an audiophile PA system for the listening session.
Our aim is for everyone to enjoy and experience Atjazz’s artistic work in a laid-back, warm and cozy atmosphere. So bring yourself and your friends, kick back and enjoy some of HOBO’s amazing selection of food and drinks, as Atjazz takes us all on a magical journey through Starbase 17.

OLA SMITH-SIMONSON:
Better known as Olanskii, is one half of G-Ha & Olanskii and a founding force behind Jæger. Together with Scott Jacobsen and Kaman Leung, he helped shape one of Oslo’s most distinctive club concepts: a 7-day-a-week bar and club built around weekly residencies. Inspired by Mancuso’s Loft and Levan’s Paradise Garage, Jæger blends club music heritage with a platform for emerging Norwegian talent.
Ola’s journey began in London at Notting Hill Arts Club, where he made his mark as a promoter. Back in Oslo, he co-founded Sunkissed with longtime partner G-Ha—now the city’s longest-running club night. Originally at Blå, Sunkissed became a cornerstone of the scene, known for its international bookings, hosting artists from Magda to LCD Soundsystem, while nurturing local names like Vinny Villbass and Finnebassen.
With G-Ha & Olanskii, the concept expanded globally through Norwegian nights at Fabric and appearances at Panorama Bar. At Jæger, they also launched Frædag, continuing their dedication to international bookings. Through DJing, Sunkissed, and Jæger, Olanskii remains a key figure in shaping Oslo’s music scene.
