I have been practicing Muay Thai for nine years and I love the practice today as much as I did on day one! I was lucky enough to train and live in Thailand for two years. In 2016 I spent one year in northern Thailand as a volunteer nurse and part time Muay Thai fighter. This is when I became obsessed with the competition aspect of Muay Thai. In 2018, I moved to Bangtao, Thailand in Phuket and became a sponsored fighter for Sutai Muay Thai. I have 19 fights in the sport, and I hold three titles. I love sharing my passion with others and I love to see the excitement and power they experience through their own Muay Thai practice!
My one piece of advice is to not be intimidated by the "combat sport" title associated with Muay Thai. Muay Thai is about balance, rhythm and is meant to be beautiful to watch.
