Exploring Herbs and Creative Cooking: Compound Butter
Come along as we explore and learn the forgotten art of how to use herbs in practical ways of creative cooking. The Boones Creek Historic Trust Museum and Opry will be the setting for a morning of making herb compound butter. Using fresh rosemary, thyme, lavender, and bay will delight out senses as you prepare butter to take. Connie Thompson avid gardener, author, and speaker will share her knowledge and passion of herbs and cooking.
Please bring the following supplies with you. All other ingredients and supplies will be provided.
Cutting Board, Knife, Apron (Optional but recommended)
Light refreshments will also be provided during this event.
