Join us at The Blooming Barrel for our Secrets of Strixhaven prerelease event! Our prerelease event celebrates the launch of Lorwyn Eclipsed and is your first opportunity to explore what the set has to offer. Invite your friends, the more the merrier, new players encouraged & we'd love to welcome new people into our MTG community.Return to Strixhaven, Magic's beloved mage school, and uncover years of mysteries as you explore its hallowed halls and beyond. The five colleges are back, each with their own unique look, feel, and magic focus. As you increase your skills, make academic discoveries and work to prove your college is the best, but beware—second-year knowledge comes with a side of increased danger.
Location: The Blooming Barrel - 4/43 Bicentennial Drive, Agnes Water 4677 QLD
When: Sunday 19th April 2026, 4pm - 8pm. Arrive at 3:45pm for registration.
Price: $60 per person. Tickets are limited so purchase online to avoid missing out.
Timing: Roughly one hour to open your pack and build your 40 card deck. You will then play casual rounds against other attendees.
Prizes: All participants will receive 2x free Strixhaven play booster packs at the end of the night.
Prerelease Pack Contents:
- 5 Secrets of Strixhaven Play Boosters
- 1 Secrets of Strixhaven Seeded Booster
- Each Seeded Booster is themed around a different Strixhaven college and includes 14 college-aligned cards including 1 Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare
- 1 Traditional Foil Rare/Mythic Rare card
- Oversized Spindown™ life counter
