Come join us for our weekly Pauper Commander League! This fun and affordable twist on Commander lets you get creative while keeping things balanced and competitive. Prizes include packs and store credit for top players! 🏆
🔑 Key Differences from Traditional Commander (PDH Rules)
• Commander Rarity: Your commander must be an uncommon creature, vehicle, or spacecraft (does not need to be legendary).
• Deck Rarity: All other 99 cards must be common rarity (if a card was ever printed at common, it’s legal).
• Banned Cards: Only Mystic Remora and Rhystic Study are banned.
• Starting Life: Players start at 30 life (instead of 40).
• Commander Damage: 16 damage from one commander is lethal (instead of 21).
• Mulligans: One free mulligan at the start of multiplayer games.
• Starting Player Draw: The starting player draws a card on their first turn.
⚔️ Deck Construction Rules
• Singleton: Just like Commander, only one copy of any card (except basic lands).
• Color Identity: Follows standard Commander rules.
• Partners & Backgrounds: Allowed, as long as both cards are uncommon.
• Total card count including background, partners and backgrounds equal 100
