THE NORTH CAROLINA MAJOR TAYLOR CONVENTION IS HERE!
While this trip wasn't on our initial baseline schedule, MTCCVA steps up when our community calls. Several of our dedicated members registered, and it only makes sense to show up deep and support a regional Major Taylor club that has always held it down for us in Virginia. They've traveled to burn rubber on our pavement, and now we are showing up to dominate theirs!
The Pedal Industries gear bags might not have arrived in time, but the grit, the legs, and the club pride are packed and ready to roll. Let's make our presence known!
⚡ PRE-TRAVEL CHECKLIST: STAGE IT AT YOUR DOOR
Don't leave your garage without verifying the essentials. Line 'em up tonight:
THE MANDATORY: Helmet, Lights, Bike Locks, and RoadID (No exceptions!).
THE GEAR: Cycling Shoes, Water Bottles.
THE FUEL: Pack nutrition for all stops. Event nutrition is a bonus—your personal stash is your lifeline.
THE RITUAL: If you have a specific pre-ride eating regimen, pack what you need to keep your routine uncompromised on the road.
THE CHILL: Bring Lawn Chairs for the post-ride hang.
🛠️ TECH TIP: Get familiar with your Garmin Edge Group Ride feature (or your preferred tool for Wahoo users). If you end up rolling with a new Major Taylor group to make a new friend, use the tech to stay connected so we can sync back up and finish the last two miles of the ride together as one powerful MTCCVA unit!

🟢 WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3 | DEPLOYMENT & BIKE FIT
4:00 PM: Earliest arrival window opens. Settle into sleeping arrangements.
THE Bike Fit Ride: 1.2-Mile Test Ride to the Venue. Dial in the bike fit, check the mechanics, and clear out the travel legs.
LOGISTICS: Food shopping and dinner prep. Note: Keep cash on hand for quick local stops!
🔵 THURSDAY, JUNE 4 | THE OPENING SALVO (19 MILES)
