On behalf of the More Than a Protest Organization (MTAP), we would like to submit a letter of assistance, requesting donations for our 1st Annual Back to School Bookbag Drive. Our event is scheduled for August 21, 2021. The event will be held at the Potomac Gardens Housing Project of the 6th ward in Washington, DC. As our communities and students are returning to school, after a tough year; we want to stand beside them and wish them well into their new school year. This year’s Back to the Books Carnival will consist of a Backpack Drive, School Supply Giveaway, a free Speech & Hearing Screening, Haircuts, Hair-Styling, Wellness Stations, and Games and Fun for the entire family.
