MTA Interclub with Oakland Hills Tennis Club!
Join us for a fantastic interclub tennis event. This is a great opportunity to enjoy tennis, connect with fellow MTA'ers, meet players from Oakland Hills Tennis Club, and play on some really great courts at Oakland Hills Tennis Club! The format will have us changing partners after each match. After we play for two solid hours, we'll have lunch with a panoramic view of the bay.
Details:
- Round-robin doubles, rotating partners and opponents every 30 minutes
- 4 courts
- max 10 players from each club
- 3.0-4.0 rating
- all genders
Schedule:
- 10:20 - 10:30 am: registration
- 10:30 - 11:00 am: warm-ups
- 11:00 - 1:00 pm: tennis
- 1:00 - 2:30 pm: potluck lunch on deck or clubroom
Each player is responsible for bringing one fabulous potluck item (select your preferred option during registration), and your own racquet and water/drinks. MTA will provide lunch beverages (beer and spirit-free beverages). Oakland Hills is providing courts, balls, papergoods, coffee, and tea.
Note: Refund of registration fees (less roughly the nonrefundable ticketing and payment-processing fees paid by MTA) will be issued to the original form of payment upon request if received more than 48 hours in advance of the start of an event. No-shows and requests received later than this will not be refunded. For this event, the maximum refund amount is $10.
