Get Ready for MSDWT Summer Enrichment Triple Treat!
Calling all Teens and Almost Teens who love Musical Theatre! Join us in person for an exciting summer enrichment experience filled with singing, acting, and dancing. It's the perfect way to boost your skills, make new friends, and have a blast under the spotlight. Don’t miss out on this awesome chance to shine!
Where and When
Classes will be held in the at the brand new MSDWT Early Childhood Center which is right by the NC Campus, connected to CEC on Woodfield Crossing Blvd. (JEL Career Center is closed for renovations this summer!)
Time and Dates: 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. for four days, May 26, May 27 , May 28, and MAY 29 (Tues. through Friday). At 2:00 p.m. each day, we will hold a musical performance/mock audition and parents are welcome to attend as audience members so each participant will get experience singing, dancing, and acting in front of an audience. You may perform in a small group if you do not want to perform by yourself.

Cost:
$30.00 per day if you are only coming some of days, $110.00 for 4 days - includes materials, pizza on Friday, and all coaching and guests for all showcases.
Half-price scholarships available upon request.

Teen Triple Threat Musical Theater Camp

Joyce Click - Retired NC Choir Director in MSDWT, Adjunct Instructor in Music Education at University of Indianapolis and Butler University , 2025 IMEA Community Impact Award, past Grammy Music Educator Top 25 in Nation
Doug King- Beef and Boards (over 120 shows) and Yuletide Performer, Professional Actor and Choreographer, and Dance Professor at Anderson University
LeAnn Haggard - Retired NC Dance Instructor at NC and former winner of National Dance Teacher of the Year, Coodinator of State Fair Talent Showcase, Choreographer for Musicals, Show Choirs, and Dance Recitals (over 75 shows)
Maribeth Smith (MSDWT Musical Theater Summer Enrichment Coordinator) - Music Teacher at Clearwater (MSDWT), former Runner-up for Indiana Teacher of the Year, 32 years as music MSDWT Teacher, and Director/Choreographer and Producers of more than 50 Elementary Musical Production.
Who Can Participate:
Any student aged 10 -18 who wants to have fun singing musical theater songs, learning musical theater styles of dancing, rehearsing scenes, monologues, play theater games, and improve audition, public speaking, and improvisational skills. More experienced campers will be given more challenging scenes to act out.
Each Day of Camp we have different songs, scenes, dances and themes. Shows studied will include but not be limited to

Special Bonus - On Friday, our last day of camp we will provide pizza for lunch.
Daily Schedule:
9:00- 9:55 Vocal Technique and Audition Solo Preparation
10:00-10:55 - Audition Dance Preparation ( Different Style Each Day)
11:00-11:50 - Scene Study and Dramatic Coaching - All new scripts and monologues
12:00 - 12:30-Lunch - Bring your own each day!(except Friday as we will order pizza)
12:30 -1:00- Theater Games and Inprovisation
1:00 -1:50 - Guided Rehearsal for Mock Audition
2:00- 3:00 - Performance for Audience and Critique
