About this Event
Do you want to discover one of the most powerful and safest ways scientists and doctor have developed and use to look inside materials, plants, insects, animals, and indeed the human body?
Join researchers from the Interdisciplinary Centre for Magnetic Resonance at the University of Southampton to watch a live Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experiment and learn about instrumentation and methodologies used to produce amazing MRI images.
MRI is used as a painless routine exam that doctors use to look inside people to diagnose a variety of illnesses. It is also abundantly used in research laboratories around the world to study properties of materials, plants, animals and more.
Discover who our 'little patients' are and help us provide them with a diagnosis!
