On Easter Monday we will be doing things a little different, instead of our usual session we will be having a School Sports Day, it’s meant to be a little fun and we hope to raise funds for Sepsis Trust.Last year we lost my friend Russell Whittington, he was a stalwart of the running scene, completing multiple marathons in times I can only dream about and even held the world record for the fastest father and son marathon time with his dad. Some of you who didn’t know Russell may have recognised him as he joined us on a Monday at Migo Run Club on a few occasions.
To take part we ask for a donation of any amount which you can afford, which will go direct to Sepsis Trust, you can either bring cash on the evening or I will post a link closer to the time.
On the evening we plan to have some of the school sports day favourites… egg and spoon race, sack race, three legged race and… tug of war!
