About this Event

FREE BOOKS. FREE ADMISSION. FREE LUNCH.

Join us for Mr. Stevey & Friends, a free community program designed for pre-school and elementary school–aged children and their families. Each event invites participants to engage in mindfulness activities and explore creativity through art in all its various forms.

Families will enjoy guided art activities, music-making, make-and-take art projects, and a read-aloud featuring a mindful moment, led by Mr. Stevey and local teaching artists.

Each event includes:

  • Free admission
  • A free, healthy lunch for the whole family
  • Free books for each child to help build their at-home library
  • A special prize for each child to take home at the end of the day

Please note: Once you RSVP for the event, you will be asked to complete a once-a-year registration form. This form helps us continue to provide free educational programming for our community. ?

Mr. Stevey & Friends is led by Mr. Stevey Jones, a certified mindfulness teaching artist and the 2023 Appleton Award Winner for the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation. All are welcome!
