Rules And Information
Mr. & Ms. Springfest Pageant
1. There will be fourteen age divisions in the pageant that are listed above. Age divisions are subject to change and at the discretion of the pageant director, based on number of entries and age of contestants.
2. Contestants will compete in Easter outfits, springtime outfits, or casual to semi dressy attire or dresses for the Springfest pageant modeling. No fancy pageant dresses, custom attire, glitz, etc. will be allowed. Please inquire in advance if you have questions about attire. Contestants will lose points on appearance for not following guidelines. Contestants will be judged during the pageant modeling in the areas of appearance, beauty, poise, personality, and modeling. Trophies will be awarded to the 1st runner up and pageant winners in each age group. The pageant winner in each age group will receive a crown and sash. Every contestant will receive a trophy.
3. There will be an optional photogenic competition for each age group. Trophies will be awarded to the photogenic winner in each age group.
4. Photogenic photos will be submitted online to the pageant director and will be uploaded to the Facebook event page and judged online. Photos can be professional, snap shot, black and white, or sepia. Photos must be natural. No glitz, filters, photoshopping, edits, retouching, etc. are to be done to photos. Photogenic awards will be given out during the awards ceremony.
5. The Springfest beauty pageant is the only mandatory entry ($30.00). Photogenic and overall categories are all optional entry.
6. All contestants will need to arrive to register and check in at 12:00 for the pageant. There are restrooms available to change clothes if needed. If you want to practice before the pageant begins, 12:00 to 12:45 will be the only time to practice at the venue.
7. A photo of each contestant should also be submitted to the director for the purpose of online display on the event page when the entry fee is paid. This does not have to be the same photo as your photogenic entry photo.
8. Entry fees are listed on the entry form. Entry fees can be paid online with Venmo. Entries will be accepted until April 15, 2026. No entries will be accepted after this date, unless the pageant director extends the deadline to enter.
9. Unsportsmanlike conduct and drama will not be tolerated in any form. The pageant director has the authority to reject an entry or remove a title from a contestant due to this behavior.
10. This pageant will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the upstairs banquet room at the Marion Centre Mall, located next door to Rural King.
11. There will be a $5.00 admission fee at the pageant. Children under the age of 10 years old, contestants, and visiting royalty will be admitted free.
12. Winners of this pageant will have the opportunity to participate in community service activities, special events, and local parades.
13. There will be no refunds on entry fees unless this pageant is canceled. Pageant postponement, rescheduling, sickness, emergencies, etc. does not constitute a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS!
